A list of our services includes:
- Managing the daily financial activities of a unit following internal and external policies, procedures, and regulations which ensures institutional compliance.
- Ensuring proper internal controls are in place and monitoring the unit’s financial health while driving corrective measures.
- Helping to identify risks and opportunities to help an organization achieve both it's short and long-term strategy and goals.
- Providing financial expertise and advice to help decision-making, including scenario planning, market trend analysis, and forecasting.
- Financial reporting and analysis to determine pricing, resource allocation, cost optimization, and expected revenue at various levels of complexity.
- Preparation and interpretation of budgets and financial information on behalf of the unit.
- Managing cost and managerial accounting systems, taxes, and cash flow as needed.
- Performing daily transactions and tracking of any necessary financial activity including the payment of obligations, collection of revenue, purchasing, procurement, asset management, and other responsibilities.
- Managing finances for grants, contracts, leases, capital projects, utilities, renovations, inventory, and other projects.
- Ensuring employees are paid timely and correctly, helping the unit plan for workforce needs, and tracking compensation goals.
- Performing all necessary financial review activities like travel compliance, monthly reconciliation, cash handling, and fund management.
- Preparing unit financial reports such as Profit/Loss statements, budget to actuals, balance sheets, and other internal and external reports to ensure the unit knows its position and to increase transparency.
- Managing a unit’s internal revenue sources like endowments, gifts, scholarships, awards, and bursars.
- Supervising all finance personnel to ensure proper training and maintain consistency in processes, performance, feedback, and compensation.
