Francisco Pedroza
Assistant Vice President, Finance and Administration
Francisco was hired in January of 2023 to create and lead the Finance Strategy & Solutions team on behalf of Business Affairs. In this role, Francisco is responsible for the financial management of Business Affairs and other University units. Previously, he was the Assistant Dean of Business & Finance at the College of Social & Behavioral Sciences and has done work in faculty affairs and academic administration.
Before attending the University, Francisco was a student at Arizona Western College. He transitioned to the University of Arizona, where in 2002, he completed his bachelor’s degree in business management at the Eller College of Management. While attending he worked as an HR intern for Facilities Management. In 2007, he completed his master's in business administration from Eller. Altogether, Francisco has over 20 years of experience across several functions at the University.
Francisco hails from Douglas Arizona. After high school he attended Arizona Western College in Yuma on a soccer scholarship where he was named captain.
Francisco continues to be a proud Douglas Bulldog, Arizona Western Matador, and Arizona Wildcat.

I am proud to introduce you to the Finance Strategy & Solutions Leadership and Management teams. Together we lead a Finance & Administration Shared Services division supporting the missions of 18 diverse units across the University. We pride ourselves in offering excellent and professional expertise, adding value to the University, and making an impact in the success of our community.
